Daramu House meaning treehouse sits beside its sister International House, Sydney in Barangaroo. A six-storey timber on one storey concrete, it is made from glulam columns and beams and CLT floors. Although using similar materials to its sister, the main difference being the direction of primary beams, running this time parallel to the street. The two buildings show the development in mass timber buildings has had over the very short period of time. Recycled hardwood blades and long V-shaped columns providing relief on the lower levels.
