Australia’s first six-storey timber-framed apartment building. The structure utilises a lightweight timber frame wall system using high strength LVL studs than traditional sawn timber. The floors are made from CLT as well as the stair and lift core. The walls were prefabricated off-site with the plasterboard and wall insulation already installed, thereby allowing wall panels to simply be craned into place once arriving on site. This 134 apartment building is nearing completion.
